On January 30, 2023, just after the Spring Festival holiday, in Shengtuo Chemical Industrial Park, Kenli District, the construction site of Dongrun New Material Electronic High-performance Special Resin Project was busy, and the construction, patrol inspection and security personnel were working hard in their respective roles. “The project has been completed and accepted, and is expected to enter the production and operation stage soon,” said Zhang Xianlai, the General Manager Assistant of Shandong EMT New Material Co., Ltd.
Dongrun New Material Electronic High-performance Special Resin Project covers an area of 187 mu, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, and has 5 production workshops and 14 production lines. This project is the second large project with an additional investment of more than 1 billion yuan by Sichuan EM Technology Co., Ltd. in Kenli District, Dongying City. It mainly produces electronic grade high-performance special resin. The construction was started on February 18, 2022. At the end of December, the test run conditions were met and the trial production was carried out.
“The special resin produced by the company has high purity, high heat resistance and other characteristics, and is mainly used in aerospace, rail transit, chip packaging and other fields. Six products such as alkylphenol-acetylene resin and solid thermosetting phenolic resin fill the domestic gap.” Mr. Zhang Xianlai told that alkylphenol-acetylene resin has the characteristics of long-term viscosity increase and low heat generation, which is the second in the world after the products produced by BASF in Germany, and the first manufacturer in China. “At the same time, relying on the advantages of sufficient basic chemical raw materials in the surrounding areas, the project will expand and extend the integrated industrial chain from petroleum basic chemical raw materials to high-end special resin materials to electronic high-end materials, and promote the continuous development of the chemical industry in Dongying City towards refinement and high-end.”
“Our first phase project is a special epoxy resin project with an annual output of 60000 tons. The project entered trial production six months ahead of the original plan, creating the fastest pace in the same industry. At present, the output value has reached 300 million yuan, and it is expected to achieve an output value of about 400 million yuan in the whole year.” Zhang Xian said, for the second phase of Dongrun New Material Electronic High-performance Special Resin Project, we are full of expectations, “When the project is put into operation, the annual sales revenue will be 4 billion yuan.”
