Since 1966, EM Technology has been committed to research and development of insulation materials. 56 years cultivation in the industry, a huge scientific research system has been formed, more than 30 kinds of new insulation materials have been developed, serving the electric power, machinery, petroleum, chemical, electronics, automobiles, construction, new energy and other industries. Among them, application of insulation material in UHV industry is also one of the key directions that we are focusing on.
A variety of insulating materials are required in the production process of transformers. At present, the application of insulating materials produced by our company in transformers are as follows:
3240 Step block (Laminated wood step cushion blocks shall be used for lower voltage levels, 3240 step cushion blocks shall be used for those above 750kv, and the splicing method shall be formed, with the thickest part of 400mm), 3020 base plate, washer, insulating pipe, screw, support plate, fixed plate, locating plate.
Development of oil transformer material industry:
since 2018, glass fiber screw nuts, oil duct support plates (EPGM203 and UPGM205), etc. have been imported and supplied. In view of certain risks of restrictions on imported products, some large state-owned enterprises have cooperated with our company to develop localization products.
So far, the localization process of transformer reactant insulation materials has been completed, and small batch tests have been introduced in 2018. The imported materials have been tested by the third party and compared by the customer, and all of them have passed the customer’s requirements. By 2021, the consumption of insulating materials for oil transformer has reached 1.8 million
